What about expenses and taxes?

There are none.  Everything is included in our fees.  Everything.   Keeping things simple and straightforward is a priority.

What do you need from us?

Access to all areas of the store with the exception of cash offices and computer rooms and access to employees for conversations.  This will require solid communication between the District/Regional office and store management.

What do we tell the stores as to why you are there?

That would be up to you.  A suggestion would be to tell store management that corporate is sending an efficiency expert around to different stores.  After the eye rolling, we won't be viewed as a threat, just a nuisance.  Remember, unless you just have us there for a spot check, we are really there to determine one or all of the following: Why is employee turnover high, why is morale low, and why is the culture poor.
