LAS VEGAS, Nev., January 15, 2008 - HRSnap! today announced a new Applicant Tracking System - ATS - product named Career Center. HRSnap! is positioned as a full featured, entry level human resource recruiting and applicant tracking system priced to allow customers to own the product for less money than an ongoing service.
HRSnap! is a unique product because it is a self contained HR application, web server, and database server that runs on a desktop PC computer connected to the Internet. The result is a high end web system that runs as easily as a desktop software program without the cost of IT - information technology staff to set up and maintain the program.
"This is a truly unique product in the HR (human resource) marketspace," said Michael Grigsby, Chairman and Advisor to HRSnap! and chief architect of the system. "It is unusual to incorporate both an application and web server into a desktop software program," he added, "but it is both efficient and works with nearly any web browser."
"Most HR web applications are built using tools that are only compatible with Internet Explorer," said Alan Carver, Vice President of Customer Services. "It is important to our customers to use a system that is compatible with Safari, Opera, and FireFox because those are the types of browsers many job seekers are using on their Apple, Linux, and Unix operating systems," he added.
A key aspect of the system design was the ability to open it up to customization, according to Carver. "We have the ability to customize the interface precisely to match the customer's website, including graphics, HTML, and cascading style sheets."
HRSnap! has been installed in just over a dozen beta customer sites since November, 2007, and is generally released to customers today.
